2) Help the Florida Recount Gain Traction

Three Central Florida voters have filed a lawsuit asking for a hand-recount of every single paper ballot in Florida. While it’s a longshot that the defendants will respond by the time the Electoral College meets on Dec. 19, it’s worth trying. You can support their effort by contacting any Florida voters you may know, as the law office involved with the case is looking for signed affidavits (personal accounts that are notarized) to present as evidence. Here’s a templated message you can send to your Florida friends & family:

If you or anyone you know was either  turned away at the polls, sent to varying polling locations and were never able to vote, were obstructed in any way from voting (even traffic jams count!), experienced anything that impacted your ability to vote that seemed suspect, or if you were a poll worker who noticed anything suspicious that could indicate election fraud or hacking, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Write a short personal statement about what you experienced.

  2. Have it notarized immediately. If you cannot afford a notary, email us at law@clintcurtis.com for alternative means.

  3. Have your notarized copy of your statement scanned and emailed to law@clintcurtis.com no later than December 13, 2016.

Thank you.

Additionally, write to Secretary of State John F. Kerry to request that he issue a recount in Florida. The plaintiffs in this case have alleged that 1.67% of Florida votes were not accounted for, that illegal votes were tabulated, and that legal votes were excluded.

Dear Secretary Kerry,

I am writing to request a recount of votes in Florida. While I realize that the cut-off for an automatic recount is a margin of .05% of the votes, and Trump currently has Clinton beat by 1.3%, it has been alleged that illegal votes were tabulated and that legal votes were excluded in this state. The only way we can reliably detect such fraud on the election results is to recount the ballots manually, without reliance on potentially hacked election equipment. I urge you to do your due diligence to ensure that democracy in our country stays intact.

Thank you.

3) Email the Electoral College

On December 19th, electors of the Electoral College will cast their official votes for the President of the United States of America. http://asktheelectors.org  makes it super simple to write an email to the electoral college voters and ask the electors to choose the right choice for humanity.  The site allows you to cut and paste all the emails of electors and your email.

Dear Elector,

It is a dangerous idea to let an outdated breakdown of states not show who won the popular vote. Almost 2.5 million people voted for Clinton over Trump. You have a moral RIGHT as an elector to help guide this country away from such a misogynistic, racist bully who suffers from narcissistic personality disorder have control over our country. The horrible increase of hate crimes is just one step away from outright lynchings and concentration camps. Please, remember, you want to be on the right side of history. Too much is weighing on your decision to let an antiquated piece of U.S. legislature be the end of American democracy.

Please change your electoral vote to Hillary Clinton.
